The Essentials of Animals – The Basics

Dog training mistakes.

Dogs are the best friend you can get. At least 3 out of 5 households own a dog as a pet, whether small or an adult. Different people prefer different types of dogs, some trained others untrained. Making a dog be well mannered and behaved is an uphill task that requires a professional to do it or else you will end up being disappointed. When training a dog,it is important if you can start doing it from when it is of a young age so that it can grow being aware.

Most dog owners are misguided when it comes to the fact that they should discipline their dogs and instead you find them tolerating the mistakes the dogs do especially when they are young. Also when the dog tends to be excited more than normal, you should learn to make it calm but most people are unable to do this because they just assume. Another notable common error is tolerating bad habits from the dog and not warning it and this is common especially when the dog is just young. It is important that you prevent a dog from adopting bad behaviours from when it is young. When training young puppies it is also important that you use some interesting play games to teach them new better behaviours.

Dogs are not like humans their IQ is way much lower than of a human being and this thus means that it does not process instructions as fast as man. Most people do inappropriate things at the right time. For example congratulating a dog right after it has misbehaved may reinforce that habit and it becomes so difficult for it to change.

Most dog owners are inconsistent when it comes to training their dogs for example skipping the training lessons for some days. What this does is that it disorients the brain of the dog as it is not able to keep track of what it was taught the previous day. Another way to train your dog for it to grow to be well mannered is by making sure it is healthy at all times,a sick dog will always be rebellious. Exercise is vital for the dogs because it keep its joints well flexible and reduces the chances lf injuries occurring.

A hungry dog will always be rebellious and as such you must ensure it is full so that it can be in its best behaviour.
